Ninilchik and Seward

When we left Ninilchik we traveled to Seward. Once we got into the Town Campground we went to the Exit Glacier.
At the last level before we got up to the Glacier, Barbara had to sit a while. The doesn't do well with heights.
This is Jake looking at the Glacier's side.
The are some of the halibut caught on our trip fishing out of Ninilchik. The largest caught on the trip was about 40 pounds. We could keep only 2 each and Jake and I both caught and released 4-5 fish before we kept any trying to get a large one. They get up to 300+ pounds. Jake's catch filleted out 17 pounds, mine 13.5 pounds. That will be some good eating. Yes, halibut is in the fluke family like flounder.
