More of Capital Reef area

Bottom picture is a real live cattle drive down the highway. This delayed us about 15 minutes but it was all interesting, especially watching the dogs and cowboys work. Note that the cowboys wore baseball caps and used cell phones to communicate with a flag car ahead. Once the shoulder of the road got wider and lower than the road the cows were moved off the road to let the traffic by. This is in Utah.

On the road to "The Four Corners"

1- Past the four corners we came up on the western terminus of US64. I told Barbara, we go left and we will be home in about a week or should we go right towards Monument Valley, she said right! 2- Just our luck! 3 & 4 Views along the road.

Our campground in Cortez, CO

We stayed in Cortez an extra day because of high wind warnings along the road toward Monument Valley, we did not want to get caught in a dust storm. This is what caught us, not too bad, about 3" but roads were warm. However, beautiful don't you think?
