We will be home is a short! (Got home 6/15/10)

Toots was just thrilled that Izzy got up and laid down next to her. We failed to tell Toots that Izzy had chosen the couch as her travel spot for this trip and she was sitting in it!

We are headed South for sure now.

1) There was snow near the top. 2 & 3) Some of the switch backs. 4) About 1/2 of the road was dirt or gravel. Barbara said her palms were sweating and her heart was palpating (I was doing the driving), she doesn't do heights well, but she said it was too beautiful not to look! She gave me several driving instructions on this ride!

Pikes Peak

1) That morning we could not go to the top because of high winds. 2) This is the 13 mile turn around spot. 3) The winds lulled and alowed us to make to the top in the afternoon. 4) Left click on this and read about "America the Beautiful".
