To keep from going through Chicago we took US 6 to the south. It did take us through
Joliet, this is part of downtown
Joliet.
This is a high school in
Joliet, it looked more like an
armory.
And we went through Chicago Heights to the south of Chicago.
Thankfully we got back into the rural area east of Chicago.
